Likewise, a Barbarian, already endowed with considerable damage through slow yet highly impactful strikes, shouldn’t simultaneously acquire additional survivability and damage through the same stat.
This predicament is evident in the challenges of balancing the Wizard class. Strengthening it with extra health via Strength would inadvertently lead to a fusion of the Fighter or Rogue attributes, coupled with magical prowess and blunt weaponry.
What if a novel attribute called Vitality were introduced? This attribute could be independently fine-tuned for each class, providing suitable survivability without infringing on their offensive capacities or destabilizing their equilibrium.
